A morning in conversation with SEQCA

You are invited to A Morning in Conversation with SEQCA on Tuesday 19 November commencing at 10.30 am and followed with lunch (pay your own) at Siam South Bank.

This event will commence with an online guest presentation on Flood Resilience in the Urban Environment by Dr Melanie Schwecke, Senior Manager Flooding and Resilience at the NSW Department of Planning, Housing and Infrastructure. Melanie has extensive experience in practical floodplain management and mitigation projects in Local Government and State Government. She led the preparation of a draft Shelter-in-place Guideline for the Department of Planning in NSW.

After Dr Schwecke’s presentation and questions, there will be a chance for community groups to exchange information and ideas about their activities and goals for 2025, commencing with a short presentation by SEQCA President, Chris Walker, about Toondah Harbour and current work by Redlands 2030.
